VG Consulting is a specialist advisory firm focused on governance, assurance, and accountability. We support institutions where formal structures exist, but outcomes depend on how those structures are interpreted, enacted, and sustained in practice.

Founder & Principal
A governance and assurance professional and scholar-practitioner.
James Odero brings experience in internal audit and governance practice, alongside ongoing academic work on internal audit effectiveness and institutional behaviour.
He works closely with boards, audit committees, and senior leaders to strengthen accountability, protect institutional value, and build trust. His approach combines practical governance experience with rigorous research, grounded in Kenyan and regional institutional contexts.
